ESCORT TRUCK DRIVER

Escort Truck Driver Required

DUTIES:

• Transportation on the following routes: Lima, Arequipa, and La Joya.
• Verify your unit and ensure that the drivers of the units in your convoy complete the pre-trip checklist.
• Comply with the established transit schedule.
• Be responsible for the transit speed of your convoy.
• Verify the lashing and stowage conditions of the cargo with the driver (before and after the trip).
• Ensure that non-convoy units view the convoy so they can take the necessary preventive measures.
• Accompany, guide, and assist if necessary during the trip.
• Conduct breathalyzer tests on drivers before the start of the trip.
• Ensure that all drivers in the convoy rest in a location that provides all the necessary conditions and that the effective rest period is 8 hours.
• Promptly report any vehicle malfunctions or damage to the maintenance department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A-IIB driver's license (MANDATORY).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience.
• Knowledge of first aid.
• Previous firefighter status is desirable.
